Software Description

High-technology, reliable terminal server for Windows XP Home/Pro, which has also approved itself perfectly under Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2003 Server. Works carefully with server resources and employs much less memory, which lets to set up more connections (up to 36 connections at 3,5Gb of memory).ViTerminal XP features the functions of console control and management,which makes it an effective way of system administering.

ViTerminal doesn' t use Microsoft Terminal Service and is not based on RDP protocol, and this can raise system security in some cases. The software includes 3 program components (Terminal Server, Terminal Client and License Manager) and features the functions of remote PC access and remote PC administration. ViTerminal XP requires only 256 Mb of operative memory for server and 64 Mb of operative memory for each connection. The client component can be installed on any computer of class i486 and higher or on a diskless Thin Client.

The program has a very user-friendly interface and is optimized for traffic economizing. Now sharing PC resources between multiple users is as easy as winking! You can even start different Windows applications from Linux operating system without any inconvenience. Even if your computer doesn't have a static IP address and an access to external network, you can set up Client-Server connections via any free Virtual Private Network, for example, Hamachi.

ViTerminal XP will let a big company significantly reduce the TCO of its computer park in terms of both hardware as well as software for ViTerminal XP licensing policy counts only active conections and allows to use the same program copy if you buy new hardware. The high-level connection security is provided by Viterminal's own data transmission protocol with 2048-bit key ciphering.
