TeamDrive Description

TeamDrive virtualizes folder and its documents for data exchange and collaboration among teams, individuals and multiple devices using the Internet. Anyone with access to a WebDAV server (e.g. available with Box.net, free-of-charge) can use the free version of TeamDrive for an unlimited time without any restrictions.

The software application guarantees a high degree of security and is awarded the Data Protection Seal of Approval by the Independent Center for Privacy Protection ULD in Germany. All data which leaves a computer is highly encrypted (256 bit) and is not accessible by any not invited person. All data is available offline and always stays in sync.

TeamDrive’s intelligent software enables the fast, simple, secure, and automatic exchange of data between two or more PC's or notebooks over the Internet. A group of users can have online, as well as offline, access to the same data at any time without administrative expenses or security risks. The TeamDrive software provides a virtual network drive in the user's workspace.

With this virtual drive, the user can securely exchange documents and files with any personal friends or co-workers. To use TeamDrive, only client software is necessary for the PC or notebook. You don’t need your own server or server software to become a member of a SharedSpace.

Creating your own SharedSpaces and secure virtual work groups is a simple as setting up a new folder. On the computer the SharedSpace performs exactly like a folder. The user has complete control over this folder and who may have access to it. Setting up an individual SharedSpace requires access to a relay server. Any WebDav server can be used as a relay server. In addition, numerous hosting partners are offering special hosting services.

TeamDrive is active around the clock, and the data is being transferred securely. When you use TeamDrive, no files get lost, not even older ones. Install the TeamDrive software on all your computers and automatically receive current information and file updates about all SharedSpaces and teams you belong to.

You can work together on the contents of a file that contains the project plan. If the project plan is distributed within a team using TeamDrive, and everyone is aware of this, local agreements become unnecessary. Potential changes take place in seconds, and not in days.
