TOWeb is an easy-to-use software for persons and organizations wishing to quickly create a Blog or a Web Site without any web designing skills, without dealing with web programming stuff, without using a retouching software for their pictures and without being left alone in front of a blank page with dozens of options.

Whether you are an expert or a beginner, just enter your texts (a live spell checker is included), add your pictures, and create your unique and unpublished graphical theme using the random theme generator features.

Add any kind of web page to your website (including photo albums and catalogs), enhance your pictures with frames and effects, protect any sensitive content with passwords (emails are automatically protected from spam), and click a single button to publish your website to your web space using the provided list of hosts.

To begin the creation of a website, enter its title and select some topics you want to start with: simple page, blog, photo album, products catalog, contact form, etc.... TOWeb will create automatically a menu to allow your visitors to navigate in your pages. You can afterward add or duplicate more topics, or even import Word / Excel documents.

When you will be back in the Start step, you will be able to create an international website with several languages by using the integrated translation environment, or, for instance, to add a glossary to your website (help bubbles on words/expression of your texts). Naturally, you can create and maintain several websites if you wish it.

In TOWeb, the themes are not predefined. Some templates are supplied if you want to use one, but you may use the random theme creation tools, in this way your website will have a unique and original graphic design. Naturally it is possible to customize each element of your theme: the layout of the website, the banner, border styles, the style of the menu, colors, fonts..

Furthermore all the pages of your website will have a consistent look throughout like professional sites. If you modify your graphical theme automatically or manually, changes will be applied immediately to all your topics.

The third step of TOWeb is dedicated to the filling of the topics with your data. For each paragraph, you only have to enter its title, its text, and to indicate if it contains a picture.

You are never left alone in front of a blank page. The division of the topics in paragraphs guarantees a consistent and professional layout for your website.

An integrated picture editor allows you to crop, apply border effects, texts or deformation to your images. Just in a few clicks. Besides the text and the images, paragraphs can also contain forms, videos, Flash animations, tables, etc....

The referencing is an essential step of the website creation nowadays.

TOWeb provides you with all the advice and necessary tools to allow you to optimize the referencing of your website in search engines.

You can customize the title, the description and the keywords of each page of your website, enter an ALT tag for each picture, customize the name of your pages and add a sitemap.xml and/or a robots.txt file to your website.

TOWeb can even generate a sitemap.xml file automatically for your website, you only have to set the priority and update frequency of each topic, that's all !

TOWeb allows you to easily include advanced features on your website, for instance to sell online with e-commerce options (see lower), secure pages of your site with passwords (global or by user), protect your forms against spamming with visual "captcha" codes.

You may also add a local search engine on your website so that your visitors can find an information or a product easily in your pages, insert ads in your topics to earn some revenue from your website traffic, use the Google services (Diagnostics, Analytics, AdSense..), publish an RSS feed or add some interactive contents on your site to allow for instance your visitors to post comments on your pages (blogging) in real time.

The e-Commerce features of TOWeb allows you to create your online shop in a few clicks with:

- Management and customization of the shopcart and the order form

- Creation and customization of the shipping modes, including foreign shippings (depending on fixed price, weight, amount).

- Management of payment modes (check, wire transfer, and native support of PayPal to accept credit card payments instantly)

- VAT by country, B2B (price excluding tax) or B2C (price including tax) option

- Management of discount coupons

- Reception of the orders by email

- Terms of sale

Let the spell checker verify your website (the spelling mistakes are also underlined when entering texts into paragraphs) and publish it to the Internet on the hosting service of your choice. Most host services are supported by TOWeb (FTP protocol) and an exhaustive list of hosts is included to facilitate the configuration.

Once the host configuration is done, the publication is made with a single click as often as needed. File transfer resumes on disconnection and publishes only the modifications made since the last update of the website.

If you wish to publish the website with a third party FTP tool, or if you want to burn your website on CD-Rom for a demonstration , you can export the site locally.

Once the site is published, you may want to notify a list of contacts (family, friends, colleagues, members) by sending them a personalized message.
