Soundflavor DJ is a companion to iTunes that serves as your personal DJ. It also makes it easy for you to create great playlists from your library, and to shop for new music by sound. As you listen to music, Soundflavor DJ matches the songs you own against an online database of musical, lyrical, and cultural attributes spanning hundreds of thousands of songs.

It then watches what you play, and uses artificial intelligence to pick other songs from your library that complement the music you're listening to. As it does so, it recommends similar songs that you don't own, concert tickets, and related items for you to check out. Click on any song in Soundflavor DJ to learn more about the artist, hear a sample, buy the song, or shop for other similar songs.

You can also instantly make playlists based on sound, style, or era. Save them to iTunes or directly to your iPod to take your music on-the-go. Post your best playlists to your MySpace page or blog.
