Software Description

Samsung PC Studio is a Windows-based PC program package that you can use easily to manage personal data and multimedia files by connecting a Samsung Electronics Mobile Phone (GSM/GPRS/UMTS) to your PC.

The applications of Samsung PC Studio and their functions and features are as follows:

PC Studio Launcher
- Provides the shortcut icons to start the PC Studio applications

Connection Manger (Manage connections)
- Allows you to select the connection type for PC to Phone connection.

Phone Editor (Manage contacts and more)
- Allows you to view, edit and organise the personal information in your phone on your PC. It also lets you copy and move information between your phone and your PC.

Message Manager (Manage messages)
- Allows you to view, edit, and organise messages of your phone on your PC. It also lets you copy and move messages between your phone and your PC. In addition you can send text messages or multimedia messages through this
application, when it is connected to the phone.

PC Sync (Synchronize)
- Allows you to synchronize personal information data saved in the Phone and the data saved in the PC's personal information management program. The PC personal information management programs supported by PC Sync are
Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express.

Phone Explorer (Manage files)
- Allows you to manage multimedia files in your phone on your PC and to transfer
files between your phone and your PC.

Networking Wizard (Manage Internet connections)
- Allows you to access the Internet using the connected Phone as a modem
device.

Since PCStudio supports various model versions, you should install the correct version for your own model. If you install an incorrect version, you will not be able to connect PC Studio to your phone.

Without any software installed Win7 can't find drivers for it, but still loads it as a mass storage or media player (thank god), PC Studio option doesn't work with or without the PC Studio software (go figure). PC studio won't even detect it that it's connected via USB data cable. After uninstalling this useless piece of crap software it left junk still on my system and ghost entries in add/remove and had to manually edit them out of the registry. I guarantee I will never buy a Samsung product again. I would give a -5 rating if I could.

As per other reviewers, it does not work.
I see that Samsung have deleted it from their web site.

Even the version on the CD that comes with the phone does not work.

What are Samsung playing at?
