i got a samsung g600 phone and the disc didnt work that i got with the phone on vista and i couldnt download anything to my phone from my comp what i did was to load the pc studio disc with my phone conected to a pc with xp on it and then when i conected the phone to my comp with vista i was able to download songs from my own vista powered comp because all the menus on my phone that were shaded had been activated by the xp computer andc there for i could download anything that i wanted

I have installed the software but when I open it I get a box saying server busy, click on switch to to activate the busy programme to correct the problem. I don't know what to do, can anyone help please?

I read somewhere that Samsung phones from Verizon don't sync up properly...some kind of proprietary thing Verizon had done to them. I have an SCH-U700 phone. PC Studio looks like a great product - but's useless with this phone...won't sync up at all. Somebody - PLEASE tell me this will be fixed while I still have this phone (2 more years of Verizon contract)...or I'll be doing battle with Verizon to swap it out (make that "begging them").

you lot are moaning that you should have stuck with other phones, but thats coz ur doing it wrong! like wiht the memory card you gotta transfer you picz and fotos from d card to the phoone so that the software can pick it up, read how to do it first and then you wont need to uninstall it!

I read most of the reviews and then tried to download pc studio. When clicking the download button, chinese,japanese or korean chicken scratches (sorry no offense) pops up. I can't read a word of it. Don't know what all the fuss is about. Obviously they must be user errors. Downloaded, launched the exe file installed and plugged in the phone. Transfered music, photos and played my videos on the media player. Its works great

My gosh, it was alright at start but the second time I used the software the Multimedia Manager wouldn't work. I reinstalled it 10 times by now and its just ridiculed and annoying! I don't know what will work and my computer is too slow to do things like this. All I want are my photos. ARGH!

Installed on XP Home. Hooked up phone - SGHA707. Would only recognize as MTP device. Even as that, did not display any of the sound files either pre-installed or ones I loaded on the memory card. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Now it won't recognize the phone at all. Thus I rate it poor. Next I will try reloading the whole PC and install. Why is this so difficult?

Well it just worked wonderfully for me. When I installed there were three times a message appeared indicating an error. I selected "Ignore" and continued. I download to my PC regularly with no problems. I really rate this application very high. I love it. Save my photos where I tell it. Same for the video.

I don't see it user friendly. I too faced the same difficulty as faced by Mr. Peter. More ever the heighest out put of sound at Phone is not clearly adiobale in the group gathering in family or office for ring tone as wellas music also for which the icon 'edit sound is helpless.

I installed the Samsung PC Studio 3 and that's it. It doesn't work. I tried to copy my contacts from the phonebook (sim). It just keeps timing out. I'm not a techno-geek or anything but I've used Motorolas with easier PC to phone compatibility. I was trying to work with the Samsung G600. This definitely puts me off Samsung.

There is one aspect of PC Studio that I am very disappointed with. The SMS Message Manager allows you to type short 160 character messages only. Suites for other phones allow you to type longer messages that are divided by the application into a number of messages when it is sent, thus allowing you to copy text into an SMS. PC Studio would be much improved if this feature could also be built into it.

Awful. Came with my Samsung G600. Worked on first use but could only access phone's memory and not the memory stick. tried reinstalling and now it doesn't work at all. Absolute drivel. Has put me off every buying a Samsung phone ever again. I should have stuck to Sony Ericcson.

if like me you spent ages trying to find a mac version of this program than stop looking now!! i spent a good hour or so on the samsung wbsite and it would appear that such a program doesnt exist. instead just use the bluetooth facility on your macbook or what and it transfers photos much quicker into iphoto and means you don't have to use that useless program anyway! make sure you enter the same pass key (for example 0000) on both your photo and mac and they should connect instantly!!! x

oh my word! it was good at the start but now its doing this retarded thing: "pc studio is performing a time consuming operation please wait for this to finish" and its done it on my laptop as well as my main pc....its sooo annoying!! if anyones got any solutions, help me out yeah?! cheeeeers

downlaoad samsung PC Studio 3 well Just installed this software on my Vista.It does not work.The way it was with previous version.which came with phone .The phone is visible in device manager but PC studio and its connection wizard can not detect the phone.also try throught bluetooth too. Reports: connection manager has stopped working and another one in wizard - please check if your phone connected to pc and bla bla bla.. please help if anybody knows the cause.

I have the D600 and the screen does not work have since upgraded but cannot transfer files and pictures to my computer i have installed software correctly however it says that my mobile is not connecting through the usb cord, Can anybody PLEASE HELP as i need to get to my beautiful pictures and download them.

Aww gutted, I have never used the USB connector on my phone but the keys have stopped working on my D600, so I thought BRIGHT IDEA! Connect phone to computer and then it might work but it won't :-( when I go to connect through USB it won't. I'm reyt gutted. If anyone can help me make it would I would really appreciate it. I am running XP, and have tried both the version that came with my phone and the Samsung website download version (dated 13 August 2007). In both cases, it fails to install with the massage "not enough disk space". I have 40 Gb free space on one drive and 60 Gb free on the other one I tried. No other explanation found anywhere.

I have the same problems with the software, cant view or download to computer sms longer than 160 characters. It is such a shame as i love MY phone so much so that i went straight out & brought one for my girlfriend. For a multi-national company that has such a LARGE turnover i would have expected more. I would like to add more to this review but have to work before i get into trouble!!! PLEASE TRY BETTER SAMSUNG.

I have tried to install and run PC Studio 3 times, it is utter crap it can´t/won´t find my i300 useless the windows version finds my phone in seconds, no comparison. To me the software is part of the phone bad software bad phone, so Samdung!!! last phone i buy from you, shame really as i like(ed) your mobils, yet your software stinks like poo.

It works well, after a lot of practice, but then I'm new to this. Only problem is that all my SMS message are quite long and they appear on my PC now as EMS messages and you cannot view them. I can only see the text of the messages that are under 160 characters. Those that are above it just says EMS Message - View on Phone. That kind of defeats the whole point as I want to empty my phone. Anyone have any suggestions, is there any software that will download longer messages so I can read them on my PC. I have a Samsung SGH 850. Thanks in advance

VISTA USERS: You have to install the program under Windows XP compatibility mode, and with Administrator rights. When closing the CD drive, hold the SHIFT button to deactivate the autorun feature. Navigate to the drive where the CD's files are located (My Computer or equivalent.) Right-click the Install.exe file and choose Properties. From there you can go to Compatibility Mode, and select WinXP. Also in there somewhere is the option to run it as Administrator. That should solve the Vista issue for everyone.

Samsung PC Studio 3.2.0 works on vista, just tried it myself after having problems with older pc studio. remember to deactivate your bluetooth when you have connected your usb cable or it wont sync

To date I have been using Nokia mobiles and PC Suite software. I use my notebook almost exclusively with my mobile. Because of endless trouble with PC Suite I switched to a Samsung...nice phone (i600). BUT!!! The software???? PC Studio 3.1. Installed and that's it...no detection of phone via USB or Blue. Sees the phone via Blue but will not connect. Cant mobile manufacturers develop software that works. ActiveSync works..as does internet sharing via laptop (USB and Blue)but as far as PC Studio is concerned it's not go. To not have the facility of using my notebook the create text messages and associated functions is not on. Sorry state of affairs when software fails to function correctly and the feedback as far as what is wrong is no help either. What does code 110 mean for goodness sake.

whoever the hell jimbo is the most unhelpful person ever. we dont want to know if were numbnuts we want to know how to fix it. but cheers steve, mine works now.

Can somebody please help me. My son committed suicide during January of this year. The Samsung PC Studio CD that came along with his cellphone is lost and I experience extreme difficulty to download the software. If somebody would be so kind and e-mail me the software pachage as an attachedment, I would really appreciate it. There is a number of photographs of my son on the phone and I dearly want to get them onto my PC to be able to make print-outs of them. Any assistance in this regard will be highly appreciated. if u cant get it to work on vista u shouldnt be using a pc u numbnuts! there is not a program i have come across that i cant get to work on vista, even when people say its impossible. I recommend learning to use pc before connecting phones and the likes!!

To run this software on vista download it etc go into windows explorer find the setup.exe file select properties click compatibility tab, click run this program in compatibility mode, select windows xp click ok. Program will now install and work ok
