SOHO Notes is the premier digital note-taking application for Macintosh. Use it to capture, organize, and share all of your personal and workgroup information.

It can store rich text, PDF's, images, files, movies, audio, bookmarks, and web archives. Synchronize notes between multiple computers, iPod's, and Palm handhelds.

SOHO Notes is as equally suitable for the sole proprietor with a single computer as the small business with a few dozen networked computers. This all new note manager is based on a commercial database engine for high-performance and reliability.

Its client/server design makes SOHO Notes ideal for anything that needs to be shared such as meeting notes, confidential company documents, employee handbooks, approved company artwork and logos, product plans, marketing campaign documents, etc. Sharing notes is easy with its manageable user access privileges.

The new Widescreen View lets you see more about a note without opening the note. This view has been popularized by email clients because it allows you to browse through your emails without having to open each one. Now you can do the same thing with your notes.

The new Tag Explorer makes it easy to drill down through your notes to find just the note or notes you're looking for. The Tag Explorer shows you all the tags currently being used by the notes in your selected folder. Select a tag and you'll see only the notes that have that tag assigned. Repeat until you see your desired notes. It's fast and informative.

Bookmarklets appear in the bookmarks bar of your web browser. When you click a bookmarket, a bookmark note or web archive note for the the current web page will be saved in SOHO Notes. Capturing information from the web is even easier now!

SOHO Notes makes viewing your notes as easy as capturing them. Navigate your notes in a 1) List View; 2) Icon View; or 3) Cover Flow View. Use the Icon View or Cover Flow View to navigate all your notes visually. Each note is displayed as a large preview of its first page.

In today's fast paced world, it's critical to have your important notes with you even when you're on the go. SOHO Notes synchronizes seamlessly with your iPhone or iPod touch using a companion application on your handheld called NoteLife (available separately from the App Store). Synchronization is two-way so notes added on your iPhone sync to your computer and vice versa. You get to choose the folders you want to sync so everything remains familiar. Synchronize all your notes including rich text, images, PDF's, movies, voice recordings, files, forms (read-only), web archives, and bookmarks. Now you can literally take everything with you including the kitchen sink.

Record memos, ideas, thoughts, reminders, lectures, meetings, or any audio you want using your computer's built-in or external microphone. When you're done, edit your recording, then choose to save the recording as a new note or email it to a friend.

Shoot and edit video right from your computer using your computer's built-in iSight camera. After shooting, trim it to the perfect length, and save the recording as a new note.

Snap a picture using your computer's built-in iSight camera then save the photo as a new note. Captured photos can also be emailed, saved to disk, or copied to the clipboard.

SOHO Notes makes it easy to organize your information the way you want. For starters, you can store your information in as many different databases as you'd like (Personal, Family, Research, etc). Within each database create an unlimited number of folders and sub-folders to further categorize your stuff. You can even assign your own icons to folders to help you quickly identify them.

If you prefer not to file notes in a folder hierarchy, you can also organize everything by assigning your own labels and tags to notes. You can then use Smart Folders to automatically filter your notes for you.

Do you have lots of notes filled with tasks? Do you wish those tasks would show up on the task list in your calendar program? It's now possible. Attach tasks externally to notes or simply enter tasks right inside of your notes along with everything else. Either way, you can change the status (completed, underway, etc.) of your tasks from within SOHO Notes and the change will sync to your calendar software.

Establish relationships between your notes by attaching them to one another. Attached notes are highlighted in a special color in the notes list.

SOHO Notes is always available to help you capture new information and search your notes (even when it isn't running) via a special application always running in the background.

Conveniently located in the menu bar, FlashNote lets you search and view your notes from any application—SOHO Notes doesn't even have to be running. FlashNote searches are lightning-fast. Plus, once you find the note you're looking for, you can copy its contents directly from FlashNote and paste it into another application.

Use QuickNote to compose a note on-the-fly without launching SOHO Notes—simply press a hot key to invoke it. QuickNote is always available from any application so you can compose a note no matter what you're doing or what you're in the middle of.

Drag content to DockNote on the side of your screen. DockNote will automatically slide out so you can drop your content into any folder. A new note will be created and saved in the folder where you dropped your content.

Choose Services from any application's application menu to grab and store the selected content in SOHO Notes.

Press a hot key of your choosing from any application to instantly store your selection in SOHO Notes. You can also use hot keys to paste notes into other applications.

If you have information that is less free-form and more structured, no problem. Design a form with fields that fit your information and then create as many notes using that form as you'd like. Suppose, for example, that you'd like to neatly keep track of your credit cards. Design a “Credit Card” form with fields you want like card name, number, expiration date, annual fee.

Forms are also a great way to store and search structured data you might have in another program, database, or spreadsheet. Simply import tab delimited and CSV data directly into SOHO Notes and the software will create a new form note for each record in your file.

SOHO Notes supports powerful typography features including text alignment, line spacing, paragraph spacing, kerning, ligatures, super/subscripts, rulers with tab stops, etc. In addition to advance typography, SOHO Notes lets you insert convenient elements like calendars, check boxes, tables, lists, and hyperlinks to make your life easier.

Insert a calendar for any month into a note to assist you with short or long term planning. Calendars come in five sizes.

Easily create a to-do list by inserting special check boxes into any note. Check boxes can be marked as completed or not completed and come in two sizes and four styles.

Create hierarchical lists of items directly in your notes. Use bullets or numbers to distinguish items in your list.

Create sophisticated-looking tables directly in your notes. Specialized tools are available to help you edit cell background colors, cell spacing, cell borders, etc. You can even merge cells, split cells, and nest tables.

Establish hyperlink relationships between notes and almost any other resource. Simply select some text in a note and then hyperlink it to a web address, ftp address, email address, file on your computer, etc. Once a hyperlink is established, you can click the link to access the corresponding resource.

MobileMe synchronization ensures that you always have the same notes on multiple computers. For example, changes made on your home computer are automatically synchronized to your work computer and vise versa.

Take your notes with you anywhere using the built-in iPod synchronization feature. Simply drag the notes you want on your iPod to the special iPod folder and press the sync button. SOHO Notes is even smart enough to break a large note into multiple smaller linked notes that will fit on your iPod so you're never missing anything.

Synchronize your notes and folders between your Mac and your iPhone or iPod touch, so you can automatically keep your desktop and mobile device up-to-date whether you edit information on your Mac or on the go.
