PenyuComm is a free LAN chat software. The purpose of PenyuComm is to provide a simple alternative channel of communication by allowing users to exchange message only among computers in local area network.

Chat software or messenger has several advantages especially to improve communication efficiency and effectiveness. However, any misuse can have a reverse impact. Some organizations or computer labs prohibit their staff or students from using IMs such as Yahoo Messenger, FaceBook etc to avoid any unproductive activities.

PenyuComm only allow messages to be sent to co-workers over local area network. All computers in network will be listed for users to communicate with. It make use of single screen to chat with multiple computers. PenyuComm does not require any chat server or internet connection.
