Software Description

Listary Portable lets you quickly find and select items from a list just by typing the keywords you'd like to search for. It supports almost all Windows components. Find-As-You-Type As you type a few letters, one or more possible matches for the text will be highlighted and immediately presented to you in real time.

In most of the times, you will find the item you are looking for in the list without typing the complete keyword. Useful Commands Listary provides some small but useful commands. For example, you can open a command-line window in the current directory while using Windows Explorer or a file dialog by typing "/cmd".

Key features:

- Smart Search - Find-as-you-type search list that narrows down real-time as you type any part of item name.

- Wildcards - Find-as-you-type search using wildcards like '*' and '?' in the traditional way.

- Shortcut to command mode - Simply type /cmd to enter command line window in the directory you are presently in.

- Hotkey - Press only Windows+W to start Listary. Customize shortcuts to select items from large lists.

- Nifty UI - Neat tool sitting in system tray, showing only a search bar that disappears upon 'Esc'.

- Traditional search - Find-as-you-type search list that narrows down real-time as you type item name in exact order.

- Text editing - Edit text anywhere with your favorite text editor.

- Auto-complete - Predicts what you want to type and auto-completes the search-string with just a few tabs.

- Regular expressions - 'Regex': Powerful, flexible advanced search method for matching strings of text.
