Software Description

LP Recorder has been designed specifically to record vinyl LPs to CD-standard WAV files. These can subsequently be converted to MP3 files or stored on CD. LP Recorder is an ideal companion program to LP Ripper.

Special features of LP Recorder suited to recording vinyl to WAV files include: Automatically adjusts optimum recording levels to avoid distortion. Auto start and auto stop for easy operation.

LP Recorder key features:

- Automatically adjusts optimum recording levels to avoid distortion

- Auto Start for remote operation

- Auto Stop for unattended operation

- Pause recording - useful for recording a selection of tracks from different LPs and cassettes

- Recording in stereo or mono

- Visual level meter can be used to check recording levels before AND during recording

- Simultaneous playback through a second soundcard while recording even if not supported by the recording device

- Large volume slider with numeric values for precise settings

- Skipping and clipping detection and protection

- Produces an LP Ripper-compatible Tracks (TRK) File
