Handy Backup Home Standard is a utility for automatic backup and handy recovery of files, folders, emails, and other types of user data. Being one of the market's most powerful software solutions for home and office PC computer backup, the app features basic options and rich expansion opportunities under Windows 7, Vista, and other 64-bit Windows operating systems (the compatibility is justified with "Compatible with Windows 7", "Certified for Windows Vista", and other official logos).

The latest version, 64-bit, manages the backup of anything anywhere anytime. The anything-backup functionality covers the smart copying of files, folders, Windows registry, apps and their settings (Skype, Adobe Photoshop, Total Commander, Google Chrome, and many others), email (Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Yahoo), websites, and other types of user data. The backups are managed in a drag-and-drop interface with the help of a step-by-step Wizard, file masks, and smart filtering.

For hardcore users there is the command line control (no need to open an actual application). For the most popular backup tasks, there are program presets helping to perform My Document, My Video, and My Pictures backup in a few clicks.

To optimize the backup archives there is a set of handy options: ZIP64 compression (to save storage space), 128-bit Blowfish encryption (to protect files from unauthorized access), and others. The data copying modes are full, incremental, and differential backup.

The anywhere-backup feature covers all popular types of storage media to save backups on: local and external hard drives, DVD/CD, LAN, etc. Among the supported storage options there is a secure Handy Backup Cloud server. The anytime-backup feature helps to automate the data protection routine with smart scheduling (the philosophy of set it and forget it).

The core file-based backup functionality can be enhanced with advanced plug-ins: Image Backup (copying the entire system), MS SQL Server Backup, and many others.
