Another strong point of the software is the support of multiple data storage format: backup to local and external hard drives, backing up to DVD and other optical disks, backup to FTP and SFTP, storage to a secure Handy Backup cloud, copying to Amazon S3 servers, and even more.

The new version brings improved disaster recovery protected against internet connection failure during while downloading important components, enhanced email notification system (now for SSL secure connection too), and refined interface.
