GFI WebMonitor uses WebGrade, which is a 100% human-reviewed site categorization database including over 165,000,000 domains. This solution lets you filter the sites that your users can browse whilst blocking access to websites in particular categories, such as adult, online gaming, personal email, P2P and travel websites.

Furthermore, GFI WebMonitor allows you to monitor user downloads in real-time, letting you block file-types such as mp3s. It also scans all files for viruses, spyware and malware using multiple anti-virus engines. Using this multiple anti-virus engine approach drastically decreases the time to obtain virus signatures, thereby reducing the possibility of infection. GFI WebMonitor lowers the risk of social engineering by blocking access to phishing websites through the use of an auto-updatable database of phishing URLs.
