Software Description

Boinx FotoMagico lets you create professional slideshows from your photos and music with just a few, simple mouse clicks. It sports a very clean and intuitive yet powerful user interface. High image quality, fast performance, and user flexibility were some of the design goals for this application.

Create the most spectacular slideshows: Scale, move, rotate, zoom or pan around your images to highlight that part that matters the most. Your slides fit together perfectly with the new, gorgeous transitions. Provide more meaning with subtle titles here and there.

Perform a breathtaking show: Your slideshow uses the best possible resolution of your presentation device. Use large displays, HDTV screens and other high resolution devices.

Even on a VGA projector, your photos will look better with FotoMagico. Your audience will want to take it home: Burn DVDs of your slideshow with iDVD or Roxio Toast. Put your slideshow on your iPod. Create a stand-alone player that will present in full resolution on any Mac (without FotoMagico installed). (Pro-Version) Create Mac OS X screensavers playing full resolution slideshows. (Pro-Version) Add branding via watermark artwork. (Pro-Version) Export in almost any QuickTime format.

What's new:

The highlight of new FotoMagico are several completely new transitions (Blinds, Flash, Pixelate, Broken TV) and new options for some existing transitions (Fade, Flip). In addition, a number of under-the-hood improvements should result in better stability, performance and audio playback.

Accessing media libraries is now easier than ever before. FotoMagico's developer, Peter Baumgartner, has been a major contributor to the open source iMediaBrowser 2 framework enabling access to Aperture, Lightroom, iPhoto and Flickr.

The new version adds support for QuickTime movies. Add a movie clip directly to your slideshow. Movies can be animated just like regular image slides. Since in and out points can be set for a movie clip, editing a clip in an external movie editor before importing it into FotoMagico is not necessary.

A new assistant helps you put together attractive slideshows with just a few clicks. Create a new document with a few images and a song. Then launch the Instant Slideshow Assistant, choose from several options, and press OK. The assistant will automatically format all the slides in an appealing way. You can further customize the settings however you like.

Bring your magic to the iPad with the new export preset that creates a movie optimized for display on the iPad.
