Folx is a free download manager for Mac. Its friendly and stylish interface won't leave you indifferent. And of course it is quite functional too!

Folx can split your downloads into threads, thus download process will go faster and in case you were offline or Internet connection was down, Folx can automatically resume the interrupted download. You can also use Folx as a torrent downloader for Mac OS X, which makes Folx an essential 2 in 1 tool.

With lots of downloads it's sometimes next to impossible to find the needed file on the hard drive. By tagging your downloads you instruct Folx to save them in folders that correspond to assigned tags using symlinks.

So when you need to find your downloaded content, you even don't have to launch Folx, just look in your main downloads folder and follow your familiar tags structure. You can assign as many tags to the download as you think is needed.
