Fasttrack Scripting Host is a complete replacement for VBScript/WSH, Bat files, PowerShell, KiXtart and all other Windows scripting tools. Anything you use scripts for today, you can do much easier with Fasttrack Scripting Host. You can create domain logon scripts, install scripts, backup scripts, administrative tasks and anything else you use scripts for with awesome end-user GUI, easier than you could ever imagine!

You don't need programming skills and you don't need to deploy anything to the clients. Your scripts will be much more powerful, easier to read and less than 10% in size of what you already have. On top of this, you can encrypt your scripts with a private key to avoid users from getting information from your scripts. If you think this is too good to be true, just download it and try it out yourself!

You can easily replace your logon bat files and wsh scripts and show the users some awesome graphics instead and you don't have to deploy anything to the clients! Just put our free 50kb FastTrack Logon in your logon directory and point your user's logon script to the exe. FastTrack Logon will automatically distribute the FastTrack engine and all your scripts to all your clients and execute them. It's that simple! And it works for all clients: Windows NT4/2000/XP/Vista/7, all server versions and terminal server and citrix sessions.

What you see below requires just one FastTrack script line, for a fictitious company named Rock America and automatically resolves the users full name from the nearest Domain Controller and you can optionally even use your own company logo.

Fasttrack Scripting Host comes with an amazing script editor. It is completely customizable with Visual Studio-like draggable panels, syntax highlighting and code completion. Writing scripts is extremely easy and a Context Helper senses what you are doing and explains what is under the cursor.

Your domain enables you to execute scripts when computers are on the company LAN. But for portable computers, this is actually not enough, if you think about it. You need to control portable computers when they are not on the company LAN too. As a supplement to logon scripts, we offer you our completely free SmartDock connectivity tool. When SmartDock is started, it detects when the computer changes an IP address and a script is then executed without user intervention. This means that when the computer for instance is booted, resumes from standby, connects to VPN or a wireless network or any other scenario where the computer changes IP settings, it trigs a script execution in the user's context. You can then for instance set or remove proxy settings and connect company shares in case the computer is just resumed from standby on the company LAN. Especially if you have a proxy server, this free tool is an absolute must instead of relying on the quirky IE autodetection.

ou can very easily script installations with FastTrack commands and it enables you to query installation status of an application anywhere you want, for instance in the logon script, where you could set per-user settings or manipulate machine settings based on installed applications. While you run the installation in the background, you could put one script line in the top to display a nice splash screen while installing.

You can easily perform administrative tasks with very simple scripts like replicating data between servers or create users. You could for instance create a menu with one single script line like the one below with out of the box graphics and the few script lines to execute choices.

Fasttrack Scripting Host is supported on all 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows: Windows NT 4, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2008 Server. Fasttrack Scripting Host uses only Microsoft approved methods of execution, which means that it will work on future versions of Windows too, unlike many homebrew WSH constructions.
