ExactScan is popular for being a modern and easy to use Mac OS X scan software with built-in drivers for over 200 document scanners, including devices from Avision, Kodak, Oki, Visioneer and Xerox.

The software allows to scan with a fingertip, comfortable directly with a press of a button from the scanner hardware as well as offering an intuitive user interface.

ExactCODE continues to provide automated and intelligent document scanning for the Macintosh.

This auto paper size detection recognizes any page size and allows also to create multi-page documents with different sizes. Furthermore it can create multi-page documents from flatbed.

Furthermore it has sophisticated image algorithms which can recognize automatically, how the images and documents have to be cropped and de-skewed.

The intelligent thresholding can help to optimize the black and white documents and together with the blank page detection can save a lot of storage space. All in all ExactScan really can live up to professional requirements.

ExactScan features an option to smooth uniform colors of the background, which results in a reduced file size and a more pleasant view. This option also allows to focus on the image foreground.

With the new button and profile manager you can scan paper documents much faster and easier with the touch of one fingertip:

- Create searchable PDF on-the-fly

- Define your own personal profiles and make ExactScan fitting exactly to your workflow!

Make copies on your Mac using your existing scanner and printer.

ExactScan includes extensive AppleScript support for professionals, and allow you to:

- Set your resolution, color mode, destination directory, profile name and application

- Monitor the processing status from ExactScan after sending the scan request
