Software Description

DiskAid lets you connect your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad via USB and use it as external storage, just as an iPhone USB drive! DiskAid offers USB access the iPhone, so you can easily copy to iPhone your documents, videos or any type of file you need.

This brand new version reads the Media library from any connected iPod, iPhone or iPad and transfers music, video and podcasts back to iTunes or any other location on the computer. These functions previously available in TuneAid have been entirely redesigned: it goes through a new music copy wizard with comprehensive reporting at the end, showing exactly what was copied, what failed and what was skipped. Besides, duplicates are automatically handled in DiskAid.

DiskAid accesses the contents of your iPhone or iPad Camera roll and lets your copy all stills and videos shots with the device or synced with iTunes to an iOS 5 device. Photo libraries that had been synced using iTunes to older or alternative type of devices like iPods Classic or Nano can alternatively be copied with the additional free application PicsAid!

Accessing iOS file system is the free core feature of DiskAid: no license or registration is necessary to enjoy file transfer to the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Use your iPhone as an external USB Key for extra convenient storage.

Access the iPhone Operating System, files and folders. DiskAid provides a reliable, fast and secure alternative to SSH without jailbreak, thirds party installers or any other hack.

Among the set of advanced features is the option to prevent automated (and lengthy) backup when syncing iOS devices to iTunes. DiskAid can also automatically create a backup of the device when connected.

What's new:

Fixed display problems on Snow Leopard for the Copy Media wizard, fixed problems with parsing of the Media Library, fixed problems when importing playlists to iTunes. Lots of other minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
