Software Description

DiskAid is a desktop application that connects any computer to the iPod or iPhone via USB. Empowering the user it lets him transfer files between a Mac or a PC and an Apple mobile device. DiskAid connects the iPhone Apps to store and make documents available right on the device. It also accesses the iPhone data to copy SMS text messages, contacts, voice memos, notes, voicemail, call history and access the Camera Roll.

This brand new version reads the Media library from any connected iPod, iPhone or iPad and transfers music, video and podcasts back to iTunes or any other location on the computer. These functions previously available in TuneAid have been entirely redesigned: it goes through a new music copy wizard with comprehensive reporting at the end, showing exactly what was copied, what failed and what was skipped. Besides, duplicates are automatically handled in DiskAid.

DiskAid includes an intuitive music & videos transfer wizard for your media copy from any iPod, iPhone and iPad to your computer, whether to iTunes or any folder or volume you would like.

Transfer music, movies, podcasts (audio & video), iTunes U, audiobooks, any playlist or any specific selection or mix of all these. The copy will include iTunes meta data: ratings, play counts, and more.

If you need to rebuild your iTunes Library from your iPod (HD crash, lost or swap computer). You've chosen the right software. DiskAid is aimed at making this process as smooth as possible, typically a single click will suffice to recover the media you cherish.

Music, videos, podcasts, audio books, DiskAid transfers all audio and video formats stored in any device type: whether it's an iPod Classic, Touch, Nano, an iPhone or an iPad.

DiskAid gives access to the iPhone text messages (SMS), the messages can be read, exported and saved to any computer in a simple text file format compatible with any text editor.

All contacts and details saved on iPhone or iPad can be viewed directly with DiskAid. They can be copied, exported for back up or sharing purpose. Contacts are saved in vCard format for universal access.

Contents of the iPhone and iPad notepad – saved in the Notes app can be easily accessed form the computer, they can be read or exported to a text file in a single operation without need to sync. Notes can be then opened in any text editor, including Notepad, Text Edit, Microsoft Word or iWork Pages.

DiskAid can access the log kept by the iPhone of every incoming or outgoing call, including the time, duration, contact and number to which each entry refers can be exported to Microsoft Excel or iWork Numbers.

DiskAid allows access to Voicemail messages recorded in Visual Voicemail on the iPhone and performs an export to the computer of all recordings with the click of a button.

Direct access to Voice Memos recorded with the iPhone or iPod touch internal microphone that can be read by QuickTime once copied to computer.
