The Carbide.c++ is a comprehensive development tool suite for Symbian OS that is based on the Eclipse framework. The C++ Development Toolkit (CDT), provides the foundation for project and build tools management, as well as the primary interface for the debugger to communicate with the IDE. Eclipse 3.2.1 - The Eclipse 3.2 project provides the foundation, or integration platform, for which the product is built upon. CDT 4.0M5 - This drop is based on a newer version of CDT which adds a couple of new views (include browser, call hierarchy). The indexer is much improved as well. Features which rely on the index are much faster and more accurate (like code completion). The worst worst IDE I ever have worked in my last 4 years of development experience.. :-( . I think these ppl have to learn a lot from Microsoft. Please try to make it at least 50% of Visual Studio Standard.
Some of the irretating bugs I observed:
-My project always fails on first build but it passes in second build
-Dont know why I need to kill DE.exe manually through Task-Manager if I am building my project after debug.
-Once I start the build process, I am just locked, cant do anything even can open a source file.
