They need to test this themselves to see how the product works. downoads is not being accomplishedmaye need a seek and find feature to continue where it stop.

After months of frustration with Samsung Kies--it would frequently, and for no apparent reason, be unable to connect to my Samsung smart phone for example--I finally threw in the towel and went with a Nokia Lumia 710 with Microsoft OS and couldn't be happier. To add insult to injury, the Kies uninstall routine failed--it consistently hung at the very end of the process and I had to "End Process" with Task Manager. So I spent over an hour manually cleaning "Samsung" out of my Registry (where, I must say, its footprint was huge). There's no going back after an experience like this, folks.

What can I say they need to get their act together Samsung Kies does not do what it suppose to do for three weeks now when I plug in the phone on there is a upgrade but not getting through. They need to create a remember feature to continue where it left off or loses connection.

hi, how can we connect phone to system using kies as i downloaded Kies_2.2.0.12014_18_7 and trying to install on windows xp sp2 but it ending with runtime error after installing latest msoft .NET4/3.5 framework.

after buying the costly products if a any customer gets this kind of experience then how can you compete with APPLE/IPHONE.
so before you start selling your mobiles in market try to work on core software errors.

Every customer is experience this type of problems as KIES GUI is not that good and cannot the detect the phone also and sometimes it hangs for forever. Please ask your developers/team to work on it.

Ex: See the NOKIA GUI it works like a butter.
Please soon update us so that we can use the kies.

Samsung really needs to get their show together. My Galaxy tablet and my Galaxy SII phone are great products, but why do I need to use Kies to update my products. And especially when Kies is junk and doesn't work.

Yes, absolutely a junk software. Cannot connect, cannot detect device and just hang and hang.

Samsung, come on, you cannot be that hopeless. How to compete with Apple?

Absolutely the biggest pile of software junk I have ever had the misfortune to need to use. Will not connect my Samsung Fit (S5670) to my pc. Just sits there saying 'connecting' but doesn't do anything. Will never buy Samsung again

I have wasted all day trying to get this software to work.....save your time and pass on this. It is a shame because it would have served as a valuable part of my data and phone management. I am very disappointed.

Possibly the worst software out there. I spent two days going over and over forums on how to get my Samsung Galxy S2 (2 days old) to finally connect so I could transfer music and videos. Debugging, re-installing, un-installing, different usb ports, Kies trouble shoot connection etc...Such a shame considering the phone itself seems to do everything an Iphone 4s can do just with more freedom and better internet viewing. Good luck to any one who has to go through what I went through, was on the verge of sending the phone back and getting an iphone 4s.

Kies is a bucket of puss - it never recognises my galaxy s2. I will never buy another samsung phone - am switching back to my iPhone. My one start rating should be a zero

I have had my Wave GT-s850 for 18 mths and the Samsung Kies has never worked with my phone. I wanted to update it as google maps wont work on my phone, it keeps telling me to update my firmware. Well I can't 'cos Kies doesn't recognise my phone. How c*** is that! The actual phone is great, which is a shame.So when I upgrade my phone next year I'm going for an iphone.

Terrible!! Slow and freezing-up! Recognizes Captivate phone only sometimes. Yuk!

It has difficulty starting up - it keeps asking to let Teruton.inc to make changes to the computer - whether you say "yes" or "no." I see someone else lost a lot of contacts - so did I. I'd also suggest using a google account to synchronise contacts and calendar - that seems to work very well.

STupid thing doesnt work on my fascinate. Cant get my music fr om pc to phone.

Worst software on the planet!! Samsung is junkjunkjunkjunk! did i say junk? Got a 10 year old nokia that syncs with outlook,backs up everything,pics everything.This Stupid phone could launch a shuttle, that is if Google was making money on it!!! Cant talk outlook !! Nobody knows nothing,takes over computer dont buy Samsung!! Or Android!!

Thanks for the honest remarks. I was getting ready to download Kies to back up my phone. Have changed my mind and will heed the warnings. Too bad. I wish I had gotten a new IPhone instead of the Captivate.
