Application Description

Location update still taking too long?

Check the Catch-it settings in the device's settings app.

- Make sure the accuracy setting is not set too high.

- Make sure the GPS timeout setting is not set too high. (10 seconds or less)

Catch-it is your perfect fishing log application in which you can log all your catches. Catch-it will provide you with statistics, picture gallery and map views so you can easily browse, edit and show-off your greatest catches! Catch-it will work for you even without GPS by using drag & drop locations.

Catch-it will log the following items for you:

- Date & time

- Location

- Fish type

- Length

- Weight

- Picture

- Weather

- Moon phase

- Catch depth

- Water depth

- Bait

- Type of water

Location

Catch-it runs on your iPhone and iPod touch. If you own a GPS enabled device Catch-it will automatically log the location where you caught your fish. If your device does not support GPS, you can drag & drop a pin to the exact location.

Catch-it will automatically name your location based on previous nearby catches. The range for this feature is easily adjusted in application settings.

Fish names

Catch-it includes over 600 fish names in 6 languages including English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish and Italian.

Statistics

Catch-it can display several statistics about your fishing trips. Including most caught fish, biggest catches, longest catches and best fishing spots.

Pictures

With Catch-it you can easily add a picture for each catch, either by camera or using the camera roll. An overview with all pictures is provided for a great showing-off experience!

Weather

Catch-it will download the latest weather report based on your location.

Moon phase

Catch-it will calculate the current moon phase.

Other settings include support for centimeters or inches and lbs or kgs, different map types and more!
